My mission was either going to convert me to the Church or to communism. You knew that. Besides, I never reviewed anyone's comments until I sent out that mass email inviting billions of people to read it. I suppose you could say I'm afraid of you people saying embarassing things about each other by accident. So, it's more a commentary on your trustworthiness and judgment than it is on my political persuasions. Besides, I'll probably "fold like a Frenchman in Vegas" as soon as I'm aware of those actually reading/commenting on my blog and I know you guys aren't going to self-destruct. Besides, if you're so pro-speech Mister, why don'tyou allow anonymous comments yourself? Are you afraid of not being able to blast a particularly spineless jellyfish?

I realized another reason it's nice to moderate comments now that I've done it a while. I don't check my site very often, but I like to see everyone's comments and I could miss out on that fun opportunity if I don't get emailed about it. In fact, just the other day, someone made a comment on my very first entry that I surely would have missed because I never would have dreamed someone would comment on something I wrote 3 freaking months ago. Interesting. I've on occasion wondered if you've got some of my comments on things you've written in the not-so-recent past.
