Live Earth

I just have to get this out there while I remember, otherwise I'll forget to post and it will be terrible. According to an article in the Washington Post, we'd have to plant 100,000 trees to offset the greenhouse gases released during the performances of Live Earth. I'm sure somewhere Al Gore is shaking his head and saying, "It was all a terrible mistake, Mother Gaia...just a terrible mistake."

I'll post the link a little later, but I just had to toss that out there. I think, if you really want to target a practice that is not "carbon neutral" you should go after NASCAR and not people leaving their lights on. I think you'd have much more impact if you shut down weekly races that consume countless gallons.
