So, it's been a month since I last blogged. How many of you faithful readers actually watched the James videos in their entirety? I'm probably guessing nobody did. That's too bad.
In other criminally ignored band news, British Sea Power's new album is getting rave reviews from across the pond and I'm thrilled out of my sneakers to give the disc a spin once I have my grubby mitts on it. Here's the most important part of my post for all you Westerners...BRITISH SEA POWER WILL BE TOURING THE WESTERN UNITED STATES THIS SPRING. ALTHOUGH THEY WILL NOT BE HITTING SLC, THEY WILL GO TO DENVER IN MARCH... All right then. I have my opinion about British Sea Power. Others may not share it. But, in my humble opinion, this is a band to drive 8 hours to see. As for us awesome Easterners, BSP hasn't announced the second leg of the states tour but nobody misses DC. So, as far as I can tell, all you fellow Marylanders who read my blog should not be having babies in April which is when I think they'll come back.
Oh, did I mention that Radiohead announced they'll play DC some time this year. 2008 is shaping up to me a good year for music. 2007 stunk for new music. I'll get to that in a bit. Someone better remind me to review that godless Golden Compass movie too sometime soon.
