The Washington Post reported today that a federal judge in Greenbelt has ordered the Washington Redskins to caption every bit of vocality that is played by the stadium INCLUDING...the lyrics to the various inane songs that are played throughout the game. As the WaPo put it: "The ruling requires that deaf fans also be treated to the lyrics, spelled out on the screens, of such tunes as 'Who Let the Dogs Out' in all its repetitive resonance."
Couldn't someone have convinced the deaf people that brought the suit against the Redskins that no hearing-paired (opposite of impaired?) person in the stadium can understand the lyrics either. And we really don't want to. After all, I think we all know deep down that those lyrics you can't understand in those songs to which the Tigerettes and Cougarettes and Redskinettes dance are pretty nasty. And now they're on display in wonderous HD at Redskins Park!

Ya'll ready for this? Um, ick, no, no we're not.
I got my head checked
By a jumbo jet
It wasnt easy
But nothing is, no
When I feel heavy metal
And Im pins and Im needles
Well I lie and Im easy
All of the time but Im never sure when I need you
Pleased to meet you
I got my head done
When I was young
Its not my problem
Its not my problem
When I feel heavy metal
And Im pins and Im needles
Well I lie and Im easy
All of the time but Im never sure when I need you
Pleased to meet you
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Oh, yeah
