I jsut got home from class and found out that BYU is up 31-0 at half. Wow. They positively neuter their opponents in the first half. That's the way it should be. I love it. Too bad all those hipsters aren't going to the games. Anywho, this is great. Just great. This is different than 2001 when the defense stunk. This is 1996 level. Good job Cougars.
BTW, Rutgers has a wide receiver named Tayquan Underwood. That's just a great name.

The defense is astonishing. Profoundly amazing. They simply don't give up points. I can say a few things about my attendance last night. 1) It's tough to arrive 1 minute after kickoff and already have missed a touchdown and know that the game has probably been decided. 2) Sitting in the Legacy seats means you're surrounded by folks just one step ahead of the pitiful west-siders... but it also means you get to eat brisket and ribs in a heated tent before the game and enjoy the dessert bar in that same heated tent during halftime. 3) It also means that you get Jelly Bellys, 2 bottled waters, a coupon for a hot chocolate (or ice cream) and another for a soft drink in the little bag under your seat. Just thought everyone should know.
