Chew toys

Turns out that Dave didn't destroy my earphones with a pen. No, he told we today that he chewed them. He said it without any remorse, the little stinker, as if that was the thing to do nowadays. Chewing earphones? Sure, everyone out here is doing it.

I've thought a lot about what singer I would imitate if I were a singer. I would imitate David Byrne. Why? Well, he wore huge suits, he had a decent voice, and he would scream, yelp, and do all sorts of other things to let you know that what you were listening to was unconventional. Road to Nowhere kills me. Normal song, cool song, and then at the end, "HEEY HEEEEEEEEY" For those of you who have heard the song, you know exactly what I mean there.

Does anyone else have a running list in their head of "If I were a performance artist, I would cover these unknown songs"? I'll toss some out...Don't Worry About the Government by the Talking Heads, Oceans by Suede, Mama by Genesis (that one would be killer, especially the laughing part Ha HA HA, ohhhhhhh), Shattered by River Maya. I like thinking about performing 4 covers and 1 new song and having the audience guess which is the real one. That would be fun.
