Too bad about the whole Jazz meltdown thing. I was worried that after they disemboweled the Spurs that it would be similar to when they were manhandled in Oakland. It always happens when one team is tough, scrappy but overmatched. The home team uses all their guts, glory and passion in game 3 and then collapses in Game 4.
By the way, congrats to Jazz fans for being awesome (oh, don't gripe about people throwing stuff...I actually missed that game as I was in a hotel in Ocean City, MD enjoying the surf, sand and sun...or having just enjoyed the surf, sand and sun and beginning my burn recovery process). Someone said you could still by Spurs-Jazz tickets in SA the day of game 1. So so sad.
Jazz should trade Giricek...I'm still not sold on Kirilenko. Ronnie Brewer should start some games at the two next year, let Fisher be the rock off the bench and end games. It doesn't seem to be a good idea to have him start at the two and then move him to point guard when Williams sits. Seems strange. Anywho, it was awesome to see the emergence of Williams and Boozer. This reminds me of the Jazz-Rockets series in 1994, where it felt like the Jazz got to the Conference Finals too early and got shown up by the Rockets. That prepped them for the good run of three straight conference finals appearances and two finals appearances from 1996-1998.
