Q: What is green and viney and acts as a ground covering?
A: See answer to first and second question
Q: What are small and round and are supposed to grow copious amounts of vegetables if planted early in the season and meticulously cared for?
A: Things that I have not yet killed but surely will.
Newest additions to the yarden? A big hole and an ever-expanding dirt patch (which, as Q4 indicates, is full of seeds that will never grow. (In planting the seeds, I came to the shocking discovery that I might be a horticulturist agnostic. I'm not convinced that what my fourth grade, seventh grade, and tenth grade teachers told me about seed germination is correct. I've never grown a plant. And I don't think I can ever know how a seed becomes a tree. But I will acknowledge that trees and plants grow. I'm just not sure if the methods taught me by teachers can be correct. It seems too preposterous. But perhaps, perhaps this experience can convert me to Botany.))
