The indisputable facts are these:
- U2 performed at a musical event at FedEx field in Landover, MD on September 29, 2009.
- Said musical event began at roughly 9:00 PM and lasted for longer than two hours
- The setlist was as follows
Breathe
Magnificent
Get on Your Boots
(Bono thanks Muse.)
Mysterious Ways
(I believe this is the Bono monologue about the democracy that is U2. Talks at length about the band members and what cabinet positions they would hold. Supports the Edge for President.)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Elevation
Your Blue Room
Beautiful Day
New Year's Day
Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of (acoustic)
The Unforgettable Fire
City of Blinding Lights (kid pulled out of crowd, ran around circle with Bono)
Vertigo (giant screen descends)
I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (Larry plays the bongos)
Sunday Bloody Sunday (screen shows images from Iran street protests; green smoke)
MLK (dedicated to Ted Kennedy)
Walk On
Encore 1
One (Introduction by Bishop Tutu, Bono dedicates song to George Bush and Congress for passing AIDS legislation)
Amazing Grace/Where the Streets Have No Name (A dancing, flag-waving Sikh is invited on stage)
Encore 2 (Bono wears a coat of many lasers)
Ultraviolet
With or Without You
Moment of Surrender
There were other Bono monologues (most of which related to politics and how great the US is) and a version of Stand by Me.
Again, these facts are not in dispute. How these facts were experienced vary by person. Thus, this blog will report the experiences of five couples in different locations spaced throughout the audience, yes, 5 degrees of the promised 360. The authors and locations are:
Christina and Doug - Red Zone GA
Suzanne and Cristian - GA
Merinda and Clinton - blackberry tickets...not sure where those were
Jen and Pat - Mid-level, straight on
Molly and Andrew - Upper level
Stay tuned...

I'm trying so hard not to be jealous, to just be happy for you and to tell you how happy I am for you. I'm trying, I'm really trying not to cry that you heard "Ultraviolet" live. Or that Muse opened. I'm trying not to resent the 5 couples that got to see U2/Muse. Really, I'm trying!!
I don't see what all the fuss is about.....
